At the International Hiking Federation annual meeting held in Washington, USA, the city representatives from 22 member countries attending the meeting voted and unanimously agreed to admit Dalian into the International Hiking Federation. Dalian became the first city in mainland China to join the organization, establishing its position within the International Hiking Federation and its influence among international hiking enthusiasts. The International Hiking Federation is a global organization dedicated to promoting and advancing hiking activities worldwide, with the federation's mission being 'Hiking Connects Us,' and its current members are spread across the world.
